Vintage thick gold framed wall mirror Hollywood Regency Italian 35
Elegant wall mirror with an antiqued gold finish over a impressive wooden frame. Curved, inverted frame takes some serious carpentry skills. Unknown origin or maker, have seen these promoted as Italian but this is not marked in any way.
A timeless form with a rich, hand applied finish, probably dates from the 1960's. Good scale and this remains in nice condition, direct from a local downsizing. Can be hung vertically or horizontally.
Please see photos, condition report and send any questions you may have. Frame is 35 3/8" x 25 3/8", about 2 deep.33" x 23" at narrowest points. Excellent condition, ready to hang. Light signs of age only. There are no chips, no cracks, and very little wear to the gold finish.
Mirror is free of any damage, no chips, no cracks. Gold finish has minor, tiny scuffs, some minor edge wear but overall clean and even. On one corner, side of the frame, there is a 3/8 area of loss to the veneer, it has been touched up; some moderate edge wear along the back edge and some of those appear to have been touched up (see last two photos). Good hangers on the back, can be hung either way. Please refer to photos for the best description and send any questions you might have.
