This stunning wall mirror is a true piece of history. Crafted in France during the 19th century, it features a gilded brass frame and has its original mirror plates.

Very decorative large Napoleon III. Mounted on a wood base. Decorated with leaves, flowers, foliage and putti. Please note the mirror « crown » is separate from the frame - the wooden connection has broken.

It is still the original piece - but a repair is easily achieved. Measuring 61 cm in height, 33 cm in length, and 4 cm in width, this rectangular mirror is perfect for any room in your home.

The frame finish is gilted brass, using repoussé embossing techniques, adding a touch of elegance to the piece. The French style is evident in the design, and as Paris was renowned for its production of high quality mirrors during the 1800s and the use of mercury mirrors - making it a beautiful addition to any collection.
