The marble is signed and dated 1848 by the author to the edge. Beautifully figured with amazing details. The frame is wood, with gesso moulding covered with gold leaf.

The back of the plaque has been inlayed with a bronze medallion with a classical figure. A lovely decorative piece, ready to hang.
