French Vintage / Antique Picture Frame, Ornate Gold Gilt, Naturally Aged, Large

This gorgeous antique wooden picture frame, circa early 1900's was recently bought over to the UK from France. It has ornate moulded auricular detailing toward the outer border and inwardly curved to toward the inner border, all finished a a fabulous two tone gold gilt. It has aged naturally and very beautifully with marks, patina and damage to the moulded detailing in places (including to the outer edge of one of the shorter sides) adding to the incredible character and charm. This is a large sized frame that measures approximately 87cm x 67.5cm with the aperture measuring 74cm x 54.5cm. Most of my frames do not come with glass, this is primarily due to its fragility and likelihood of damage in the post.
