Large Ornate Gilt Gold Picture Painting Frame, Genuine Antique, Plaster on wood

This superb antique Gilt picture frame was originally used to house a painting by the renowned English Victorian landscape artist, T. Read his entry in Wikipedia. The scuff / patina marks add to it's character - it IS nearly 200 years old! Subsequently added the mirror glass. My wife has a'new look' Interior Design drive, hence reason for sale.
