Large vintage gilt framed convex mirror a mid 20th Century 21 wall mirror

A mid 20th Century large round convex wall mirror. With pierced foliate frame and stepped inner surround with stiff leaf and bead decoration. Finished in gilt over gesso. Ideal for either domestic or commercial settings.

The mirror has a metal loop on the back for wall hanging. Condition: Fair functional condition and ready to hang. The mirror frame has had some areas of gilt refinished which blend in well in a good antique colour. There is a small section of gesso absent at the bottom but it's hardly noticeable. The mirror plate is in fair condition with a few very light scratches, but not obvious and mentioned for accuracy. Total diameter: 54.5 cm (21-1/2) inc. Diameter of mirror glass: 39 cm (15-3/8).
