Quality Reproduction Antique Regency Style Round Convex Wall Mirror + Gold Frame
Here is a very elegant and striking round wall mirror with a substantial gold frame cast in plaster in the Empire style which was the height of fashion during the Regency period in the early 19. Has a convex or fisheye mirror and is currently strung at the rear with a chain so it can be hung on the wall. It still has its original label on the rear showing that it was a top quality British made Globe brand dating to May 1957. This would be a real statement piece of interior decor in a modern or period home in a number of locations, and a great feature in any smart guest house, fine dining restaurant or country house hotel. The frame is in excellent condition with minor wear, marks and one or two small chips commensurate with being over half a century old; the mirror glass has no deterioration to the silvering, cracks or chips.
